HOWEVER… when he’s at home/with Sans (I’m so curious about the exact contexts you have no idea) he switches to…. boku. Which is casual and non-threatening and I love that he pretty much explicitly drops the I THE GREAT PAPYRUS thing so much.
He does drop the self-aggrandizing in English too but it isn’t really as obvious and I love that its more obvious here and you guys I REALLY WISH I DIDN’T DROP THOSE JAPANESE LESSONS MIDDLE SCHOOL ME MADE A HUGE MISTAKE

flowey uses ‘boku’, and even when he’s omega flowey and calls himself a god, he drops the ’-sama’ from the proper term for god ‘kami-sama’ he’ll also occasionally mispronounce things and refers to frisk (when saying ‘you’) as ‘kimi’, even after dropping the facade of being nice
