like alphys, roleswap undyne gets very invested in the human’s story. when they meet, she has a huge speech memorised just like in her shounens

undyne was a loud and boisterous protector of waterfall and captain of the guard, but alphys isn’t like that.

She looks after waterfall, makes sure that the grasses are healthy, and sticks up signs telling people to be careful. She never explains why though

It’s this lack of explanation that gets her a reputation. People don’t see her much, and when she does appear she says one or two words then

disappears again.

She doesn’t interact with the royal guard much, she tells them what to do and sends them written instructions, but doesn’t

interact with them on a personal level.
