If there was one benefit to all that time, it’s that we got the majority of the game (the parts that aren’t, like, directly tied so Deltarune somehow) extremely thoroughly analyzed in terms of understanding the characters and lore. 

And we’re going to have even more time to analyze the first chapter of Deltarune, without any of the rest of the game for context…hoo boy.
