A haunting remix of Waterfall on bells. (bells like mallet percussion, not literal handbells, I don’t think.)  I’m always surprised I don’t run into more remixes of this song, because it’s one of my favorites on the entire soundtrack, and this song does it justice.  Wonderful choices in instrumentation here lend the song a melancholy ambiance that is simultaneously beautiful and tragic.  It also feels reminiscent of the music box in the hallway of Waterfall, which is a nice touch.

This one is definitely worth a listen.

Alphys is an axolotl, Blooky is a jellyfish ghost, Shyren is an anglerfish (or even more of an anglerfish than she is?) and Mettaton is a bathyscaphe, idk

also i kinda fused two headcanons about MTT’s heart container, so it still looks like a belt but is also an aquarium sorta thingy

(btw i’m sorry if i suck at the resemblance, i’m no marine biologist and i’m certainly not googling anglerfish photos hhh)

  • Computer science/programming
  • Mechanical engineering
  • Electrical engineering
    • If you’ve ever looked into engineering these are completely unrelated fields which require radically different skillsets and knowledge bases
    • Alphys would’ve needed, not just a functional, but a stellar knowledge of all three to properly design Mettaton’s bod(ies)
    • Also, she made a PHONE that turns into a FUNCTIONAL JETPACK and ALSO A RAYGUN
  • Magical engineering
    • Alphys definitely understands the inner workings of the Core, although she holds herself back from infodumping about it (alphys bb no i wanna hear everything)
    • This is more spec, but: Alphys altered Mettaton’s soul, making it more humanlike, to enable him to inhabit a material body
    • When his SOUL appears, it’s a right-side up heart icon like the human ones, not upside-down like a monster SOUL
    • ALPHYS CHANGED THE CHARACTERISTICS OF A MONSTER’S SOUL
  • Soul science/DETERMINATION
    • ALPHYS DID THE ORIGINAL DT RESEARCH

tl;dr: Alphys is a brilliant and incredible scientist and deserves more than anybody else to be the Royal Scientist, she earned that post by being good at her job

  • Asgore doesn’t question Frisk when he’s told that he killed them before, even too many times to count.
  • Asgore not only knows about the UI, but is capable of actively removing Frisk’s ability to Spare properly.
  • Toby has confirmed that Asgore killed at least one of the fallen children himself.

Conclusion:

  • Frisk isn’t the first human who wanted to Spare Asgore, nor are they the first human to repeatedly die – and reload – at his hands.

Decided
to practice trying to make panels dynamic/interesting, and also just
comic pages in general because practice is desperately needed. Also
still practicing digital drawing as a whole because it still takes me
forever to do anything digitally should actually SKETCH and not just
practice digital art on big, finished things??? Also i can never get colours to look the way I imagined in my head, or look the way I think they should?

Anyway, when Asriel said this, it just punched me in the chest. It just kinda resonated with me and ever since first coming across it I’ve wanted to draw something for it
