I thought those were alphy’s cameras?

The cameras are Alphys’, but the thing people are picking up on is the narration’s scare quotes in describing the sentry station, which was built by Papyrus, that the camera is hiding behind:

WHO COULD HAVE&BUILT THIS^1, YOU&PONDER.../
I BET IT WAS&THAT VERY FAMOUS&ROYAL GUARDSMAN!/
(NOTE: NOT YET A&VERY FAMOUS&ROYAL GUARDSMAN^1.)/%%

The actual narrator, however, appears to have, ah, pickier standards than dear Papy regarding what constitutes a “well-crafted sentry station.”
